Hello everyone,
I received a gift of paper clay and ventured into sculpting these days. here is my step by step first doll

Great Job.....I like to never found Shawn s blog TV page but he has a clay tutorial I believe you will enjoy. He has some great techniques. It is time for him to do another one. He uses plasticine clay but I would think paper clay would work just the same.

Thank you, Billy. There is a difference between paper clay and plasteline.The plasteline is elastic and moist by itself.Then the drying process is different too.This is for me just an experiment. I don't have the patience for minute detail and miniature dolls.

she is ready.Sitting on a pumpkin or having a pumpkin skirt because she is my pumpkin doll.
Had a hard time painting her face as she is so tiny.

Thank you so much Billy and Lisa.If it wasn't so difficult for me with these arthritic hands I would love to try more paperclay.
