I love it all, and i really like the owl, i dont think there is anything wrong with him, however you may be right in some ways, maybe a little 'fatter', but only a little, owls only really look round when they are happily sat on a branch or snuggled up in thier little beds, so i dont think you need to change him too much.
Im looking forward to the release of the patterns, it would be nice to get my hands on them and have a go!!! will the owl pattern be released too??
love your work x x
Ben.

Hi Ben, thanks so much for your encouragement!
Yes, the pattern for Leo will be on sale too.
I'll have patterns for a robin, wren, falcon, curlew and a raven too, even though ravens kinda scare me, lol.

When I was a girl I was not like everyone else in that I did not like Barbie dolls but I loved dolls like the ones you make!! I wish I could have had dolls like yours when I was young!! Now if only I had someone to buy them for now!! Maybe if I have a granddaughter some day!! I love your work! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks LJ for the compliment
Update: I've spent the summer making the tutorials but my BinL still hasn't sent the graphics tablet for me to be able to digitalize the patterns, sigh . I tried using my scanner to scan the complete letter size patterns but I'm having problems with is scanning to the size of the paper. It's frustrating me no end .
Is there anyone that can advise me on how to scan properly because I've all but given up on my graphics tablet. But at least I put some ready made items in my etsy shop.
Thanks in advance

Hi Brownyn, what program do you have the pattern in now? I print my pattens to PDF right from my drawing program. However if you've done your pattern with pencil and paper, there are lots of photocopiers out there now that scan to pdf. Check your local library?

Hi, LBW, that's the problem, lol, I have my patterns raw on paper, I have a scanner but I don't know how to scan the paper with the patterns on them so that the scanned pattern is the same size as my original, and for it to not have jagged edges.

Are there any free programs out there?
I found these but have not tried them.

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/scan2pdf.html
open office has a pdf feature and it is free

Mark a scale with a ruler on each page of your pattern, Or a box that must measure the same on each page.
That way when you do get a chance to scan your images and place them on a page you can adjust the image until the box or scale is exactly right. It's tricky but that's what I did.
