Karagiozis or Karaghiozis Shadow Puppet
Tom Lang over at Puppet Hub is looking for some information on this shadow puppetry character so I went searching. See post: http://www.puppethub.com/profiles/blogs/karagiosis-shadow-puppetry
Tom was looking for the Greek character but the Turkish character seems to be tightly connected also. Below is some of the stuff on the internet that I found. If you have any further information on this or if you know of anyone who still preforms these pop on over to Puppet Hub (see link above) and post. If you are not a member you can leave the info here and I would pass it on.
