Turkmenistan puppet museum Posted by Na on Jul 09, 2014

Thought I'd post it, cause it looks pretty darn amazing. If you click on the images you'll see better versions of the pics. The one of the outside of the museum is cut off and the wider version is much more interesting.

There's a bit of text cut off the page which actually reads:

"In addition to its excellent technological infrastructure, the Puppet Theatre is also remarkable for the sculptures of giant fairytale hero puppets adorning the building’s exterior. The sculptures, which are the product of an extensive and painstaking work, were created using special materials and were inspired by hundreds of drawings of famous fairytale heroes."

The link redirected me and I actually ended up here for the theater: http://polimeks.com/en/buildingdetail/35/7/puppet-theatre  Not sure what is going on with that.  Maybe they are in the process of re working the site.

Very cool museum!
