Just noticed that photobucket is now charging folks to hotlink to their photos. It means  you are going to be seeing a lot of alternate images in some topics where folks have used their service. I am even finding it hard to view the originals on photobucket.com 

Hate that they have done this considering they still litter their site with tons of ads! Can hardly get to any real content.

The amount of ads on their site is ridiculous!  It can take 5-10 minutes to actually upload something while fighting those ads.  I mean, they are only charging $15 a year which isn't bad, but it was free for so long it seems odd paying for it.  Also not sure I trust paying it.  Guess its time to find someplace new.

Curious though, were you able to see the photos in my last post?  I went and checked it on 3 different devices and it seems the photos there are fine.

Woah...they just changed it.  The only plan that supports hot linking is $40 a month or $400 a year.  Forget that!  Dangit!

At the moment they do seem to be showing up. Not sure if that is a cache thing where the image is cached on my local computer or perhaps they are slowing apply the limit to peoples accounts. I really could not find clear specifics on their site.

The new set up for PandS that I am working on is going to make it much easier for you to attach images to your post. It'll be a bit like FB where when you post you can simply upload and attach an image to the post while you are posting.  

That sounds awesome!  To be honest, I think this is the only place I used PhotoBucket for, but I know countless others are scrambling to fix blogs and articles out there.  Really crap move from that company.
