Absolutely loved the skinned sock puppets vid. I was wondering what had happened to you, since I hadn't received any notification of your uploads... but that could have something to do with limited internet and borrowed connections. Millie's mom's teeth had me in stitches, They NEVER fell out!!! Well done mom...and is there REALLY a connection  between the dryer and the washing machine?  It's got me worried because we don't have a dryer, and so where would the connection from the washing machine go? Certainly might have something to do with all those single socks in the drawer...and that begs the question, are they really single, or are they really orphaned twins, or are they actually just divorced? Loved the mumbo black singers... and I was wondering if Uncle Neil will wow us again.

I'm the same too Shawn. We only get 4 or five densities, and I also go yep that will do... or, yep that will HAVE to do...I'll MAKE it do...GET IN THERE YOU....rrrrr...ah, that will do.

Traditionally I think puppets were used mostly by the early church to illustrate teachings...it works well. And Na , yes, definitely fidgety children in Sunday school calm down a lot with puppets (not always though I may say). But I personally was always very taken by the fantasy side of things. An inanimate object.. pretending it has life, and lots can happen with that... Whilst I am definitely Christian, I like this group because not all are. I find there is more freedom to explore and share stuff. I must admit, that some Christians tend to be extremely legalistic and I find it hard to fit into an all Christian artistic arena, and in some way having the odd cussing member(not that I entirely enjoy it), helps to keep an open mind, whilst not loosing sight of ones own point of view.  
   In my learning in video production etc, we were always taught that your video should entertain, inform , and teach. The focus may be on one or another, but all three will be present to a degree. Whether you like it or not, you will have a message, you will be teaching something, and hopefully you will be entertaining. You may think you are not teaching anything, but you inadvertently are, even if the teaching is...'don´t learn anything, man' You may try to have no message... your message becomes..'chaos or emptiness is my message'. The fact you make something  means you have some sort of reason, message, teaching, point, you subconsciously want to portray, or else it is pointless to you. If you are in the art for art sake mode, your message and teaching may be the beauty or ugliness itself, of the art you are presenting.  
   So...whether you have a point to make, something to teach or inform, or not, you have the freedom to take it to the degree you want to, and you will to a small degree, express your view-teaching-message whether you intended to or not.
   With The movie we are making we have had interesting discussion/criticism about this. J.R.R.Tolkien who wrote Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, publicly stated that while being Christian he did not write Christian allegories. He believed his beliefs would show through subtly, which I do think happened. He 'evangelized' C.S.Lewis , author of the Narnia Chronicals, who in turn, wrote, but specifically allegorical works. I like to think I fit somewhere in between. I do try to write with a point, but do not feel obligated to, as I feel to a degree what I believe will show through anyway.
   But whatever the philisophical background, I love the WHOLE process. Puppet TV allows me to go off on some amazing artistic tangents, and I love it.

Hello to everyone. With production of Lord of The Donuts in pause mode, I wondered if I would be allowed to start a new topic, about Frogo's trip to New Zealand. We hope to get as close as possible to  where The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings was filmed/made. Let's see what we can come up with .
