Bump and Grind Marionettes Posted in Bump and Grind Marionettes on Apr 16, 2012
I saw this over at FB and shared it on the Puppets and Stuff page over there but wanted to also post it here.
This guy is truly amazing. His ability to manipulate both puppets at the same time and coordinate their moves or separate the moves is not something that is easy!

Very nice. Looks like someone got a trip to the beach out of the photo shoot.
Stephen Mottram Posted in Stephen Mottram on Apr 12, 2012
Here are two very cool productions by Stephen Mottram that include many types of puppetry. They are not the full performances but give you a glimpse in to them.
The Seas of Organillo
Introduction to The Seed Carriers
Here is Stephen's information as listed on the British Council Arts site.

Happy Easter! Posted in Happy Easter! on Apr 08, 2012
In honor of Easter I wanted to show off a video that one of our members shot. I actually found it over on FB. It was created by our very own Nikole and it shows how to make a really cute pipe cleaner Easter Bunny!
Re: Could some of you puppeteers tell me how you started as a puppeteers? Posted in Could some of you puppeteers tell me how you started as a puppeteers? on Apr 06, 2012
My story it a bit like both the above. I got my first set of puppets around the age of 5 and was always puppet on shows for the other kids in the neighborhood. While I didn't go to college I did take a lot of acting and theater classes in High school. Once I got out of High school I had the chance to go to work for a local puppet company and learned quite a bit there. The rest is just self taught.

Very cools stuff. I loved the retro backstage look at Critters 2 you had on your FB page.

So does Dee Wallace do movies anymore? Back when I was young I did singing telegrams here in Kansas City where her family was and she was always calling up the company I worked for and sending us to family members. I actually did not remember here from Critters but from Cujo.

Ohhh! Very nice! Tell us more! We want to know how you did it.
BTW: This was originally posted in 2009 so I doubt the original poster will come back and see this. I am glad that you evidently found us though because of this post.

Cool music video with blue yeti! Posted in Cool music video with blue yeti! on Mar 24, 2012
puppet_tron had posted a link to Furry Puppet Studio's site on another thread and I found this cool video they did for a Herman Dune with special guest Jon Hamm. I like it because the interactions between the puppet and humans is so simple and natural.

Check out both the links to Furry Puppets and to Herman Dune. The Herman Dune site actually has some other puppet/body character video's. Furry Puppets has
