I was going to say, that I think you can normally get back issues of the Puppetry Journal as long as they have it available from the first run of the printing. Winter of 2008  should still be available.  Also it looks like they are now offering what is called the Puppetry Journal Companion for some of the more recent editions.  Here is the link to Winter 2008 http://tcpuppet.org/pjc/08winterpjc/win08pages/win08main.html  At one time I tried to get the PofA to offer the Journal in a web form but it never got very far.

Good suggestion VW!  It would be cool to see a rehearsal on BlogTV of a show that is being developed.

Dollar Tree is always a good source for puppet making.  Maybe we should have a Dollar Tree puppet making challenge.

Michele,
I corrected the address for you in the first post.
Ukelele Cool! Posted in Ukelele Cool! on Feb 02, 2010
This is totally off topic so figured I better post it in the Chit Chat area.  It does show though that something does not have to be elaborate or fancy to be good.  It just has be be well thought out and executed.

What kinds do you have?  Maybe one of them would work with a bit of modification. Take a picture of each set on the puppet. Just balance them or pin them on to try them out. Also seeing what you have may give others some inspiration they could share with you.

I think that Billy is close to you. He does not do shows but he may be able to put you in contact with someone.  I am sure he'll be along soon and answer your post.

Looking good!  I bet your kicking yourself about not pre-painting the curved holder for the mic.   I see the bit of white showing.  Sonny is right... I think you are hooked!

That was funny.  Great job on the piece BTW. I bet there are some puppeteers out there that would love for you to do a portrait figure of them with one of their puppets.
