You scored big.  I like McDonald's Happy Meal parts for puppet props too, just the right size. Too bad my sons are all in their 20s now, my grandaughter is starting to eat solids so we may get new toys soon. The last two times I tried to get doll arm joints at the craft stores they stopped carrying them, guess I will have to give in and get them online.

The Assembly Inspired show with junk build was #3.  #4 Was Heads up, mounted heads on wall, the most puppet like builds.  It is interesting how they need to remember how the puppeteer will be performing their build.  Makes the point that it would be helpful to spend some time actually performing to become a better builder of useable puppets.

I think you are incredibly talented Na.  Your verbal abilities are awesome, something I am sorely lacking in.  Hope you have success this week, you are due some.
Pelham Puppet Boy vent Posted in Pelham Puppet Boy vent on Mar 22, 2014
I recently had dinner with a cousin from Seattle and we somehow got to talking about puppets. He said he was a ventriloquist when his parents were  missionaries in Peru back in the 50s and 60s.  He said, he still had the puppet in his attic.  A week later a package arrived in the mail with Jose Francisco Roberto de San Juan. I think he is a Pelham Puppet vent.  My cousin said he needed to be used in ministry. I am not currently doing shows, too busy, so I don't think I can use him, but I thought you might want to see him, he looks to be in good condition.  Now I need to find someone who will use him in ministry, he is ready to work.  I tried to add the pictures of him from Gallery but it would not work today.

I know how you feel, I have let go and quit doing puppets 3 times, only to start again.  I wondered if the people I gave the puppets to would take good care of them or if they just stuck them in a closet until they were thrown out.  One time I went to see a show of one of my ugliest puppets and I was so pleased to see that he was much loved by a large group of kids.  I think we should just imagine that all our donated puppets are well loved and appreciated so we can cope with missing them. I wish I had done a better job of taking pictures.  I decorated cakes and you can't keep them, in fact someone tears them apart, I cannot bear to watch them be destroyed, I at least took pictures of them before their demise. I made a large whale puppet after the chinese dragon style he was maybe 8 feet long and we used him as a game in fall carnival for several years. I left him when we moved and when I came back for a visit once I saw him in the dumpster, it broke my heart.

From where I sit experience is more useful than education, but I don't know that employers have that view point.  They seem to want any degree as if the point is that you are able to finish something you started.  I am constantly training and retraining new folks in my job and I have wondered how some of those folks got their degree.  When I was in college years ago I took tests to get credit for 18 hours so maybe you can find some courses that you can test out of to save some money, my school gave me those hours at half the cost. I really like the new online classes because you can go at your own pace and look over something again until you get it right, start and stop when it fits your family schedule too. I learn a lot more in that format.  I went back to work after 12 years of staying home with sons I feel your pain.  When I quit to stay home with sons my husband and I made the same amount and when I came back I had to start back at the bottom and work my way up, but I showed those youngsters how to work hard and my bosses saw my value.  Good luck to you, hope you find a job you can't wait to get to each day.

I don't know much about business accounts on FB but when I did a search (in Facebook itself not web search)of your name I got two hits and both were websearch results and none of them were your facebook page. I never found your facebook site but I did find link to your regular business page in those links.
