Hi guys, did you miss me? I suppose not lol but I surely missed you guys. Tonight, the puppet bug got me, hard and I was wondering if any of you guys had any experience in making a bunraku puppet. Since I do not have any foam under hand, I was thinking that it's ok, I wanted to try recycling my old marionnette that I had started way back then when Shawn was doing a tutorial on making a marionnette and using it for a bunraku puppet project. So I am wondering if some of you have tried making one before and what tips and tricks you recommended or maybe point me to some posts that refer to the subject.

I was wondering how one does make a wacky wig. I am doing some emo character's and as some of you may know, their hairstyle can be a bit wacky at times. Having their hair go into all sorts of direction and having all sorts of colors. I was wondering how could I create such a wig for my puppet. Do I take several wigs and play frankenstein and mix-match what I want and sew everything together to make a wacky wig, is that even possible? If not, what do I do?

Hi guys, I am about to start making a bunch of puppets for a project that I will most surely start this summer if all goes well. But I was wondering one thing. My puppets will be emo puppets and I was wondering on how to create their makeup. Do I sew on patches of felt or fabric of different colors, or is it possible to airbrush colors on fleece? If you have tried one or the other technique, what has your experience been like and if it was not a good one what would you have changed?
