That was great Billy! I love these puppets and it was cool to get the history behind the puppeteers who built them. It would really be great if this came to the states some day but I have a feeling that the cost would be way to much to produce this as a touring show.

Chelsea welcome to PandS!  So glad you started this thread. I'll ditto Billy question about Poly Foam. I have heard that it can but but never confirmed it. It may be that we need to just give it a try and answer this for you also. I have used hot wires and knifes to cut Styro or EPS foam though.  It is truly amazing what can be produced.

Folks if you have not checked it out yet you should have a look at the Galleries and How To section of the Hot Wire Foam Factory site.

Jay, Good to hear you are on the mend!  Hope to see you about more often now that you feeling better.

Thanks... the new site is a work in progress and all inspired by Titre's new logo she did for the site.

Not to hijack the thread but I wanted to add in reference links to the two services that LJ mentioned.

GigMasters
Gig Salad

Maybe it is not hijacking since it is relevant. I realize you had a list of questions but it would be interesting to know if such services are worth it.  There are also agents and representatives (booking agents) for those in the creative arts. I wonder if anyone ever use them.

It really is an amazing show and you what is on tour now is not even the full version.

There is an old thread that shows a fish puppet someone made. Not sure where it is but more then likely in the Projects area. If I can find it, I'll post a link. I think maybe that they took the same approach though that mindfulloffire suggest.

I am not sure I get it.  Is the women in the black suite death? I get that the girl is hurt but being ignored by those around her but not sure why. I didn't understand the cloths burning at the end. Perhaps I am trying to read too much into it.

I really liked the sound track. Was that original?
