See if you can get pictures of them from them and we could post them here. We could also spread the news via the new groups we have set up at FB. They may be able to get a better price out of them that way.
I agree with you that while 3/4th of the original price may be a good buy for an individual that if you where going to try and resell them it would be really hard to get a profit out of them.

Here in the US you can buy computer paper that you print the design on then you can iron on design to the fabric. You can find it in fabric and craft stores lots of times. You might see if this Google Search:
Google search gives you any on-line stores you could get it at. There is actually a way that people print on fabric using wax paper as a backing I think also but I am not familiar with the process.

We had another request for this just the other day. You can get stryo-foam balls and eggs that are larger and cut them in half then cover in paper mache' or other products to make larger eyes if you can't find some ready made.

How long must it be in the earth? If it is just for a short period of time then I think you could get away with using paper mache' that you then seal with lacquer or a really good outdoor house paint. Wood might also be a media choice that is then sealed with outdoor house paint.
If it has to be in the ground for a really long time then I think you need to make it out of something like resin or perhaps fiber glass. The problem with both of those, is that it could get expensive. Plaster of Paris or concrete can be used out doors if you seal it. You can normally find sealers for both at hardware stores.
