Not sure what YouTube video you are talking about. Do you have a link to it? That might help identify it.
Re: Question regarding the gallery section Posted in Question regarding the gallery section on Sep 20, 2009
Billy is correct. Powerpoint files can not be uploaded. A large majority of people would not be able to view them and they tend to be larger files. PDF is a good alternative. If you have powerpoint you should be able to convert it. http://www.go2pdf.com/ppt-to-pdf.html

Which movie is the character from?  I know I just saw the movie not to long ago.  Great job on the puppet!
Re: Rod Avenue Q Replica! Posted in Rod Avenue Q Replica! on Sep 06, 2009
I think you captured the essence of Rod.  I knew right away who he was.  Granted there are some differences but the "soul" is there.  I really like the hair.  How did you attach it.  I ask because normally "weird wool stuff" is just a big loose clump and can be hard to control and attach. I always like to hear how folks overcome such things.

Hmmm.... I wonder if you could use fake fur and cut it really short?  Depending on what color the back fabric of the fake fur was it might work. Daryl's suggestion is most likely going to give you the best results though.  It is the same concept that is used in theater makeup and normally looks really good on stage.

You did a really good job on the interview.  Your write up on the page is also very well done.  I have got to remember to visit your site more often!

Just in case no one has said it to you lately.... "You are great!".  I am so impressed with you and what you have accomplished.  You see something you want and go about making it happen.  You should be very proud of yourself, I know I am.

It is ok to talk about it I think but you must realize that Puppets and Stuff is not connected or responsible for Andrews actions in any way.   Ok I did the disclaimer.

I still believe that Andrew is a good person and has good intentions.  It is hard to know what his situation is at the moment and most likely best not to speculate.

Chris,
I agree with you 100%.  When you are preforming with a puppet it is not just from the elbow up. It needs to be with your whole body.  It is one thing I try to stress when I am trying to teach actors to work with puppets.  While it may seem corny I want them to take the character as if they where playing it and then extend that down their arm into the puppet.
